At The Affirming Place we provide confidenital, non-judgemental, and affirming counselling to queer and neurodivergent people of all ages; supporting individuals and families to understand and embrace their authentic selves, create sustainability in their lives, find joy, and reach their goals at their own pace.

Hi there! I’m Em (they/them) an ACA Registered counsellor with a background in nursing. I’m neurodivergent, disabled, queer, and trying to navigate this world too! I help queer and neurodivergent individuals and families thrive as their authentic selves.

In session with me you can expect a calm and warm environment, adapted to your physical and sensory needs, where your goals and plans for counselling are the main focus.
